A comfortable fit is important. I first found this seat at a wholesale store in Taiwan, so I recognized its brother when I saw it for sale online. I've only ridden it in Taiwan and ordered it here for a friend (with a terrible seat, I might add). I hope he puts it on his bike because it will be a big upgrade. What I'm looking for in a seat is comfort for long rides. I've driven it for up to 3+ hours and found it satisfactory. The cutouts are designed to relieve pressure on the peritoneal nerves (or similar) while increasing blood flow through the perineal area. While moving around in the seat helps on long rides, seat design is important. It's not about how you sit (you get used to it after about 500 miles total ride) but more about the ability to pump blood through that area by doing the vigorous work of climbing. The synthetic material and workmanship appear to be quite durable. . It's not super light, but not too heavy either. And I said it was very economical :-) [Some of the seats reserved for women are wider. The width of this bike is 15cm (150mm, 6 inches) at its widest point, which is about average and good enough for me.
