Great sound but weird design.
Works great and sounds great for the price! The build quality is also good. But I am very confused as to why the volume control is on the input side of the device and not on the monitor and on the output side of the device. This makes it impractical to adjust the volume on the fly without flipping the device over and complicating the setup itself. I can see this was done because there wasn't much room left on the exit side, but it would be nice to keep ergonomics as a priority. perhaps the lesser used spif output could have been on the input page instead.
