REOLINK Argus eco. I have had my camera since October 2019. I really liked my camera and it worked well for the first few months. Unfortunately everything went wrong after the firmware update. Motion detection dropped from 30ft to 15ft, they removed the live view download option which caused the app to load slowly. The app will be automatically registered in the "Join User Experience" program, allowing Reolink to control and view your camera. I've "disabled" the user interaction option many times only to automatically re-enable it! it's a privacy issue. I have contacted reolink 5 times about the above issues just to walk around and not once has not a single support person acknowledged my privacy issue or explained why they are forcibly controlling my camera. They ask for pictures of where my camera is set up. Ask for the software version and the firmware version, nothing helps. I have emailed them 3 times asking them to remove me from the "user experience" as I don't want them to have access to my security camera only to be ignored. Again, this is a serious privacy issue, this is my camera that I bought but Reolink still owns and controls it. Oh yes, Reolink support will stop contacting me when I try to contact them. There seems to be some bugs in Android version 4.22. Could you update it to version 4.23 to see if there are any differences? There is no 4.23 update on Google Play or Reolink website! Why wasn't I told this a few months ago? Soupgrade was emailed to me and once installed I now have the option to turn off the UI program and get some of my privacy back. However, the range of motion remains at 15 feet. I may be paranoid, but it seems to me that this update isn't working. aren't open to the public, they might want to get their nose into your private life, and forcing a user experience program on everyone is a loophole for them to do so. I'm just saying, as you can see from the attached photo, they released this update after the fact. The detection range is still around 10-15 feet. I've tried moving the camera in different places and also tried adjusting the height but to no avail. I set the sensitivity to 100%, restarted the camera and even tried a factory reset. I've also placed the camera on the outside wall of my house next to the WiFi router (about 2ft from the router) and am still getting "lower resolution due to poor WiFi". Alert Popup) The battery life is great about 30 days between charges and the camera will alert my phone and email photos with no issues and the videos/photos aren't bad but the camera from a distance can horribly short movements recognize. I didn't have this problem when I first bought/set up my camera, it usually detects motion 30-40 feet away. Maybe I caught a broken camera, I don't know, but please be careful before buying.
