Bought this for light indoor office work and am impressed with the quality. This tape measure has a durable ABS plastic body and is comfortable to hold. The return spring has fairly consistent tension throughout the extension range and does not overpower when fully extended. The nylon-coated blade is bright and easy to read. The black plastic element where the hook meets the body is slightly springy so it softens the "click" when pulling in too quickly. All of this is nice to find in a cheap roulette wheel. I checked the first 48 inches with a long steel ruler at work and found that the inch markings were fairly accurate (all the markings are within 1/64th of where they should be). well suited for my needs (not all bands are that good; some markings "wander" up and down 1/32 or more; some cheap bands have large cumulative errors - maybe 1/32 shorter per foot.)
