I have a small garden where I do fruit bushes and other gardening work. I also have a 10 month old puppy. He is great for walks in the dog park and our little yard is just for quick bathroom breaks. But my puppy ruined my gardens! I put a leash in the middle of the yard and it was great, but the leash that came with it was 30ft, which was too long. I have this 16ft leash for use with a harness and it's good. QUALITY The cable is very thin and light which allows it to move smoothly when my pup walks. It is covered with a durable rubber-like plastic coating. My pup runs back and forth happily swinging the cable around the yard. He bites him too. But there's no sign of any impact on the cable just yet, just for the first few days. The hooks are strong and connect well to the rope. Thanks to the red coating, it is easy to see on the lawn. CONCLUSION So far so good. I'll let you know if I notice any cable wear issues. But now I'm impressed. I recommend this as a good option if you need to leash your dog.
