I don't usually write reviews, on the contrary, THANK YOU SO MUCH to those of you who do. That being said, when it comes to battery powered grinders, I HAD TO write. I have invested in 4 pairs of these shoes over the years. The first 3 were from the same high end brand, at least $90 a pair, 2 pairs for me and one for my mom. I tried to keep these old models going by regularly scraping the corrosion off the battery compartments. My best friend got tired of looking at it and bought me a fourth, a different brand than Revain, but I quickly got tired of the anemic grinding even with new batteries installed. . Also, their LED lights work intermittently which is VERY frustrating to say the least. These coffee grinders are excellent in every way. First, they were the FIRST to change the battery compartment design so that it was separate from where you add salt or pepper. In addition, they also protect the battery compartment from moisture, making the battery compartment more waterproof. The grinding performance is AMAZING, the light is always on and the adjustment of the grinder is very easy to use. In short, I couldn't be happier. I know you will too.
