First looked for biodegradable dental floss in plastic free dispensers to reduce the use of plastic. After trying it out, it's also a very good thread. I'm not bragging, but I was a dental technician in the US Navy, so I know a bit about flossing. Sturdy, won't tear or break, and note I have very tight contacts messing up some of the floss. It removes plaque well as it has a slightly rough texture. Wax and scent are good. The roughness also means it's not slippery, making it easy to hold when fossing. So there is no reason not to do without plastic filaments and plastic dispensers. Aha!
