The price tag for a 27-inch monitor was hard to miss. I bought two for a dual screen setup. I chose this one because it was a limited edition and was said to be 99% sRGB. I have replaced two Dell 23 inch IPS monitors with two of these and the size makes a big difference but when you switch from IPS panels to these the scepter looks very dark and washed out compared to the Dell IPS. I wanted to ditch the plain old LCD that would probably look brilliant, but switching from an IPS panel where everything was sharp, crisp and with vibrant colors was a little disappointing. If you buy a more expensive monitor, it won't look as bright. If you're used to a basic LCD, this will look great.
