My house is a little older - the master bathroom has been updated but for the most part the rest of the house is a little outdated (especially the guest bathroom). I am 5' 11", so maybe slightly taller than average, but I wouldn't consider myself to be tall by any means. Previously, the shower head sat at eye level with me, which got a bit uncomfortable for me or my guests when using it. This extension gave just enough of a boost to where I can now stand straight under it without having to bend over at all. Exactly what I needed!Installation was pretty easy, however I have done these sort of installs before so I knew what to do beforehand. For those that don't, the directions tell you everything you need to know. As long as you install it correctly (especially the plumbers tape), you will not have to worry about any leaks.
