Review on Cablecc IDE/PATA 40Pin Disk to SATA Female Converter Adapter PCBA for Desktop & 3.5" Hard Disk Drive - Efficient Data Transfer Solution by Carlos Reyes

I received it today and had to try a few configurations to make it work as there was no instruction manual. This was to convert the second PATA/IDE hard drive to SATA. To get it working I used a jumper to set the drive to the "master" position. I also made sure the SATA port it was plugged into was behind the SATA port used by the main boot drive. This has worked for me so far at least, I'll update the review over time to see if the part continues to work. Hope this helps others.
