We have 6 dogs in our home including 2 15 and 16 year olds and we take dog food seriously. We feed excellent pellets with almost the same ingredients, so I was interested in the difference between them. Luckily, this food doesn't contain any junk like soy or wood pulp. Dogs have been eating 1/4 cup of this food mixed with our regular food for a few days. No one showed disgust or indigestion towards him. They didn't get flatulence from him either - always positive. Unfortunately, this food is literally four times the price of our regular kibble, which is a deal breaker. If you're just feeding a small dog, spending more than $70 for £22 isn't a big deal - you don't have to buy it for a month or more. We eat 80 pounds of dry food a month plus canned food. It will break us.
