I bought these goggles to use whitewater kayaking. I wear contacts and am blind as the proverbial bat, and these thick lenses are totally unsuitable for anything but very light thresholds. I wear glasses so I don't lose contact when I have to turn and roll. I received them and put them on straight away. They fit great, are comfortable and look great. Let's face it, they're absurd, but all points look absurd, so there are no points gained or lost. However, the first time I went down the river they fogged *immediately* and after a short time kept fogging, despite my best attempts to wash/wipe/spit/etc. fog away. Misting is a pain, but it's not the end of the world - you just have to brush them off every few minutes. But. sight range. It's like those old Claritin commercials where the "film" is removed from the blurry image at the end of the commercial. But glasses are movies, and until you take them off you only see the world through a blurry and distorted image, enough to drive you crazy. Taking off at the end of the paddle is like relieving a headache you didn't know you had until it was gone. Ultimately, these are cheap glasses and you get what you pay for. But don't expect star optics from them.
