I saw a darker version of this fan at my husband's house and immediately knew I should have one too. At first I was happy to find Revain with a 30% discount. Second, it came in a nickel plated color since my house is not decorated in dark colors. Our colors are gray and white, so it's the perfect combination. We ordered it and the rod. This happened about a week later, as we expected. It comes unassembled, so be prepared to do everything yourself. Maybe the only negative. Definitely not a deterrent. Instructions are included with the kit so assembly was not difficult. I would say it took about 1.5 hours in total. This includes removing the existing fan, assembling the new fan, and installing it. Get your DeWalt drill ready! This windmill fan is absolutely beautiful! I mean, there is no image that can adequately convey this. It's huge. Multiple speeds on the remote control and the remote control can be wall mounted. Very quiet. I would buy this fan again at any time or recommend it. It's worth every penny. Adds so much character to our home which is a modern farmhouse design. Buy one! You will not regret it.
