If you haven't figured it out, copper is a MUCH better conductor than aluminum. Put that against my ham radio license, general radiotelephony license and 14 years as a technician at RCA. Anyone who says aluminum is better for sound is an IDIOT and doesn't know what they're talking about. Does anyone remember the aluminum house wiring fiasco in the 70's and all the fires that accompanied it? I often use low voltage zip wire for the speaker wire, which is fairly cheap and (in the past at least) is made of COPPER. I just bought a 50' for about $25 on this site. You just read the truth.
