I received this thing a little over 2 weeks ago to regulate temperature and humidity for my new crested gecko. it was working fine until last night; At some point the humidity sensor stopped working properly and the fog machine seemed to run all night. I woke up this morning to find that my gecko's entire body was soaked and now I'm late for troubleshooting and also because I had to take out his wood decor and put it in the oven to dry and avoid mold. it was that wet. I bought this because I thought it would be a nice upgrade over the ZooMed HygroTherms that I've been using on some of my other animals for years. it turns out it isn't. I actually had one from ZooMed that worked consistently for 9 years and never crashed. So. I know which brand to stick with. I'm giving it 2 stars because the temp sensor still seems to be working fine, but I unplugged the entire device before going to work in case it fails too because it will fry my gecko if so. I hope I can return it.
