A video says more than a thousand words. I replaced all 4 with a 2005 Excursion 4X4, this review is my experience with this app. The main advantage of these shocks for me is the adjustability. I craved new shocks and didn't want to spend a lot of money on a ride I didn't quite like. These dampers are infinitely adjustable, you can let the Excursion drive like a truck or like a Cadillac. Also, sometimes I do heavy tows. This shock absorber stiffens the rear end to make trailers more stable, then softens the rear end to help 3rd row passengers avoid hitting the ceiling when going over bumps. Loud if you want to be discreet. The adjustment knob is difficult to turn.
