IMPORTANT INFO IF YOUR DEVICE WON'T CONNECT VIA ETHERNET

All in all a great box. However, my device did not connect to the internet via the Ethernet port. Blogs point out that this is a problem for many buyers. I did a factory reset; and checked for updates. My box has been updated. At the time of writing this review, it was not known if the issue is hardware or firmware related. I can suggest a solution: use a USB/Ethernet adapter to connect to port 3.0. I bought a BobjGear SuperSpeed Ethernet Adapter, Model 4, USB 3.0 Type A from Revain, which cost over $20, but quickly got my new box connected to the internet. This device delivered 100% speed for my cable service. (Over 200 Mbps.) Just plug and play; Do not use driver CD. Your IP setting must be DHCP (not static). You could probably buy a much cheaper adapter if you contract for less than 100Mbps. and use the USB 2.0 port. I like the "air mouse" function on the remote control. I also like the simplicity of the controller. However, I'm not thrilled with its flat surface. I would have preferred the middle ring to be slightly raised. However, this remote control is one of the best features I've seen, having owned over a dozen Android boxes. BeeLink GT King does not come preinstalled with apps and apks. That is a good thing. Save me the trouble of removing them. If you're new to Android Box, don't panic. Use the included browser to access and install FileLinked.com. Then go to YouTube and browse some of the FileLinked "shops". Find one that offers the apps you like. They will be installed for you free of charge. I highly recommend the BeeLink King GT King. Yes, there can be some hiccups, but that's perfectly appropriate for a recently released product. In fact, I rate it higher than my Nvidia Shield; mainly because of the remote control, the internal storage capacity and the easy setting. This is a premium purchase. Incidentally, my connection speed over Wi-Fi was almost as fast (95%) as over Ethernet. But I refuse to pay my cable company's extra monthly fee to use Wi-Fi even though I have my own router/modem. Connect all devices and use VPN.
