Worked "perfect" with the brake calipers on my Golf GTI. Quotation marks because it's actually VERY difficult to start a piston if it's pushed too far - often when pads are near the end of their useful life. I actually had to use some pliers to get it through the first few corners - it was still tough! It would be great if the handle was removable, releasing a 3/8" or 1/2" square head or hex head that could be used with a ratchet or wrench. Once you get started, it will definitely work with a pen. Maybe too much to ask for this price. I'm still glad I had it.
