Works great with normal working brake calipers

This product works great with normal working brake systems. During my most recent brake job, a 2009 Nissan Frontier, the driver's side lower caliper piston was stuck in the extended position and would not retract. I figured I could use this tool to get it back into the caliper. The product failed to weld when I tried to use this tool to break the frozen flask. Note. Although it failed I ordered a replacement because it works under normal conditions and the ability to attach a drill to this tool

Works as intended, would be much better with a larger handle or 3/8 " to 1/2 " socket.

Worked "perfect" with the brake calipers on my Golf GTI. Quotation marks because it's actually VERY difficult to start a piston if it's pushed too far - often when pads are near the end of their useful life. I actually had to use some pliers to get it through the first few corners - it was still tough! It would be great if the handle was removable, releasing a 3/8" or 1/2" square head or hex head that could be used with a ratchet or wrench. Once you get started, it will definitely work with a…

Can't believe I haven't had one yet

This review is for the Heavy Duty model. It was a lot easier to use than the C clamp on my last single piston brake job, I'm sure there will be a bit of fiddling with the dual piston setup and I have to use an old pad to compress both at the same time , but no more so than with clamp C. The only downside is that the handle is plastic, I think the cylinder head that protrudes through the top of the handle is actually the top of a screw and metal, but the handle appears plastic to be, which is…

Best braking tool I've ever used. Love this item

On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, this item deserves a 10 star rating. I change brakes, I believe every person I've ever met. Not quite, but I certainly do at least 15 brake jobs a year for free for friends and family. I used this tool for the first time today and it has never been so easy for me to make brakes.
