Amazing Device - Computer Parts

The power this thing has is mind-blowing compared to Arduinos. In terms of computing power, it's roughly the same as the Raspberry Pi, but doesn't run an operating system. This means you can use Teensy for real-time applications without occasional interruptions from the operating system. The downside to this is that you cannot run Linux applications on Teensy. If you want to run Linux, Pi is a better fit. This device is not for the faint of heart. Documentation is poor and scattered everywhere, and many things you might want to do aren't documented at all. You must be fairly tech-savvy and able to navigate through dense datasheets and schematics to take full advantage of Teensy.

Pros
  • Easy Setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
