Review on ☕ AMPATO Gooseneck Kettle - Pour Over Kettle with Thermometer - Barista Quality - Drip Coffee and Tea Brewing on all Stovetops - 36 floz - Triple Layered Stainless Steel Bottom by Paul Curington

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive but amazing. The handle does not get hot when used on an appropriately sized torch.

The downside is that it's expensive. That's all. I think $50 is a more reasonable price, but still. $70 is crazy about any teapot. It's a hint. Maybe we'll see who else offers it. But if you're desperate for a halfway decent product, you'll give in to it, as I did. So the pros: it's halfway decent! It can always get better. The thicker material is slightly more durable at the spout. But none of these things seem to be necessary. It would be good if the price reflected the corresponding quality. The llama logo justified that cost, only this time. * The temperature sensor is fairly accurate and well made. * The spout is smooth and properly balanced for pouring coffee if that's your thing. * Generally the design seems to be health conscious. Stainless steel on all water contact and heating surfaces (no plastic, Teflon). Wooden handle, brass rivets. It seems to me that everything is fine, as far as I understand. For those worried about a hot pen, try not to heat the pen. It only gets hot when it's on a large burner where the heat can radiate up to it. Just like all little pots or pans, you know? Suck hot pins. Hooray
