I wish I could give this one 0 stars! I have two dogs, the older one has the same shocker but bought from Petco it works great and I NEVER put it past 20 (usually around 12). We have a 5 month old dog and chose the same collar. But Petco didn't have a dog supplement, so I bought it here. Tomorrow I'll have this thing for a month and I just realized it's burned my dog's neck and fur! Your score will NEVER exceed 11, which is low on a 99 point scale! I didn't notice any problems because she is a lab blue healer and has very thick fur, but when I pet her without fur I felt it and tilted her neck to see the irritated bald spots! I'm pretty sure it's defective because we've noticed she's acting like she's shocked when she didn't, we didn't realize it was legal until tonight. Do yourself a favor and buy direct from the pet store or company, not Amazon!
