SRAM Chain Failure in Parts & Components

I finally bought a bike with a SRAM X01 Eagle drivetrain. I usually use Shimano XT but was excited to try the new SRAM 12 speed system with 50t mountaineering gear. For the most part I like it, although it still doesn't feel as crisp as Shimano. I know this is an overview of the circuit but thought I'd add a little background. I think the tolerances need to be tighter when trying to fit the extra cog into the cassette. Not sure if it's something else or if it really is the chain, but this is the second SRAM chain to break completely. I've never seen this before. I bought an XX1 12 speed chain last summer and it literally fell apart on the first day of use. At least it happened towards the end of the trail. Then I went back to the X01 chain and used it until the end of last summer until last weekend with no problems. It was time for a replacement and I decided to save some money and buy the GX chain that is in this review and attached. Painting. This one broke for the third time right after a good climb, I came onto the plateau and it broke immediately. The photo shows that one link is completely bent. I was lucky I only walked back about a mile but I don't think the chains were meant to snap. I measured the chain as they suggest, making sure I got the right length so I didn't think the chain was too long. or short. I'm not sure what else could break the chain, but I won't be buying a GX or XX1 chain again. Just bought an X01 chain again and actually bought a 12 speed KNC chain to try. I hope the X01 chain holds up like last time.
