5.3 still squeaks after replacing the part.
The good thing about this part is that it comes with a screw etc. Read reviews before ordering. It didn't fix my acceleration squeak. I hoped that would be the case. The 1999 Silverado ls1500 5.3 replaced everything except the water pump, air conditioning pump, power steering pump and clutch fan. What next? Great engine! It just squeaks loudly when you hit it.
