Our old doormat had to be replaced. This time we didn't want to get another felt material that doesn't age well over time. We saw similar floor mats like this new one at our friends and decided to swap them out. It's been a few weeks and we really like this rug. It removes contaminants from all incoming shoes and is very easy to clean. Shake, use garden hose, shake, dry. The backing prevents slipping and holds up better than the old one. Judging from my friends doormat, which is very similar, this one shows that it has good durability and will look good for several years. A bonus was a few compliments from neighbors for the colorful leaf design and matching house color/floor finish.
