I thought it would be handy and a little better than just a small bucket next to the tray. It's not like this. My demands primarily on the shovel. 1. The wavy rim makes no sense and makes it difficult/impossible to cleanly remove lumps stuck to the bottom/wall of the toilet. 2. Presumably to save materials, the edges of the dustpan are hollow, allowing clean and dirty debris to get stuck inside, and it's awkward to clean compared to other dustpans that don't have extra slots. A bucket for shovel blades is also a lot of things you want. 1. Waste falls out of the dustpan? They just fall through the mechanism of the container to the ground like little disgusting pachinko. 2. The bin closes as soon as you take out the dustpan - it doesn't stay open - so if you want to return it you'll either have to open it with a dirty dustpan or use your hands. shovel and small bucket.
