I don't know how they expect this shovel to last. It's very thin and flexes with very little pressure, I'm sure it will be very hard to pick something up with the way it flexes. I first bought a Revain Booda Hideaway about four years ago. It was a well-designed, durable scoop with an attractive lid. Based on reviews mentioning the weakness of the shovel I decided to use my own shovel along with the Booda trolley/shovel holder. Unfortunately the scoop I already had was too big to fit in. To help other potential buyers, I measured the measuring spoon that came with Booda: it's 11.5 inches long, 5 inches wide (at the rim of the spoon), and the spoon itself is 2.5 inches deep. I had one a few years ago and it was great, thick plastic and durable. My last lasted years. However for me this was only a few months old and was starting to bend in the neck area creating a breakage as you can see in the photos.
