The clasp broke on first use.

The strap is long enough for a large suitcase (26" x 10") and it was great and very easy to adjust and held the adjustment well but the female part of the buckle broke. first use. It's not strong enough plastic for its intended purpose. It needs to be done much better. Upon inspection, it was discovered that a 1/2" x 1/4" piece of plastic had snapped off the outside of the female part of the attachment mechanism. Literally used it for the first time. The plastic that makes up the inside of the latch is no thicker than 1.5 mm or 1/16 inch, and that's not enough.
