Get it like many other reviewers have said. But maybe I can add something useful. I've never had a carbon fiber bike and just got a Cannondale HiMod Synapse Dura Ace Di2 for my 50th birthday - quite an investment. It was a huge sacrifice for the family and the ONLY thing I didn't want to do was break the seat tube on the frame or damage any other part or part of the frame. There would be no one who could afford to replace him. I've been racing and riding steel and aluminum frames for 35 years and it never occurred to me that the frame could be damaged in the process. Yes, of course you could pull a thread on steel or aluminum, but that has never happened to me in all these years. This is how the road to buying a torque wrench began - I studied reviews on Amazon for a few days/weeks before deciding to purchase the Park TW01 and 02. Calibration is very important when choosing a torque wrench - everyone knows that. As such, I was furious with any comment from a user raising concerns about sizing errors on new torque wrenches, including the Venzo. I put it in my shopping cart but just couldn't pull the trigger - that nagging doubt really lingered. So I got the Park TW01 and 02 and started using them to build my bike. I've used these types of torque wrenches before and didn't really like them - they're impractical in many cases, but I decided to just bite the bullet, better safe than sorry right? Well I really hated using them - especially on the crank bolts. I just couldn't see the scale very well and with the TW02 you also need to keep the grip neutrally balanced when using it. I found this almost impossible to do due to the movement of the crank. As you tighten the screws, you'll have to rotate the levers, as you'll have to tighten each one little by little. Anyway I found it painful, I wasn't sure about the torque I was applying so zero certainty. Tightening the stem plate and stem was easier and I had no trouble with it BUT the problem was the crank bolts. really bothered me. I just didn't have confidence that the torque was right. So I returned the Park TW01 and 02 and bought a Venzo. As soon as I took the key out of the case, I saw the QC sticker - good. I tell myself I love it, but I still know that maybe it's not right. SO. Decided to do something simple first. I have a small Ritchey 5Nm direct setting torque tool and have used both the TW01 and this Ritchey stem bolt tool. Okay, Venzo, please work. and rotated - instant click (yessssss!) - next screw - click. then - click and so on throughout the stem. Ok, first good test. Let's push the RD screw - set to 8Nm and I have to turn it a little before hearing a satisfying click - a bit loose but that's ok. Don't be afraid to damage anything here. Now to the crank bolts (Shimano Ultegra 50-34 compact crank). Let's see, 12 to 14 Nm I think, adjust knob and go. Hm. need to rotate it a little more, hey, a lot more, about half a rotation, will it rotate too far?, then CLICK. Switch to another screw, same thing. About 1/2 turn, then CLICK! I KNEW I hadn't properly tightened those screws on the TW02. with Venzo everything was much easier, less cumbersome and I love CLICK. This is a nice set with really useful attachments - the tool seems really well built. I'd say buy with confidence - I'm sure the enthusiastic Park Tool guys will sniff it out, but no. I'm sick of all this nonsense. It is in order. I will buy cobalt from a local store. I've had one before and they're pretty good. I hope this helps someone struggling to decide what to get. Without these extraordinary reviews I would have saved a lot of time and nerves. Reviews can be really lame sometimes - I hope they don't.
