They aren't cotton for bath towels

Not sure what to say about that - I've had microfiber hair towels (which I liked) and cleaning clothes (same) but this is totally different very very cute. The material is thick and soft. They remind me of a light microfiber blanket. The size is perfect for our upcoming trip to the beach. They dry very quickly (one of the reasons I bought them for vacation). They should totally get 5 stars. But... We're going against the culture here. Microfiber is not cotton. Doesn't dry right away. You can't buff your skin the same way, and I've been wiping my ever-expanding body with cotton balls for 6 decades. The moment you touch this towel on wet skin, it gets sucked in and doesn't move. Does. no Step. You can't rub or buff or shake a little to the Bee Gees playing in the background. The only way to dry is to leave the attached towel in place and move your hand down, attaching *more* of the towel to more skin. Reaching from hip to ankle, you can peel your skin from top to bottom and be completely dry, ready to move on to the next part of your body. And I don't like it. I gave him a full week. I washed and dried as instructed, changed my strategy, prayed a little, fidgeted less. I think it's like wearing headphones in both ears, like it's some kind of fashion accessory - kids love it, I'll skip it. So everything is fine. They go to the beach where I'm sure the quick dry feature would be great. I will ask my children if they want them and if possible give them. If not, I'll cut them up and get some awesome new cleaning rags. And it's not the towels' fault. So zero stars from a grandma who can't get her rhythm right. Five for a quality product that deserves more respect. Fourth, because it's not fair to judge them for what they aren't.
