update - all collars are damaged. My 8 puppies no longer have collars. This is very annoying now. They may not be suitable for large breed puppies as they quickly become chew toys. Luckily the cracked lid was not swallowed. I still have to come up with something. I may have to use Velcro. (They have chew toys, but of course the collar is much more interesting.) They are very soft and perfect, but unfortunately there is an accident. In the laundry room, which is the children's room, which is the playroom, I noticed a collar on the floor. One end of the clasp was missing from the collar. I found it in puppy litter. It was chewed up and therefore broken, although I don't blame her for taking it off. All puppy collars are designed for 2 fingers to fit between them and the collar. It's not that big of a deal anyway, but it could be that the pups chewed through the clasp and swallowed it. It happens. I'm still happy with the purchase. As always, you just have to watch them.
