When working in wood, I need properly sharpened, high-speed bits with Tungsten Carbide (TC) blades so they stay sharp when cutting wood, chipboard, or MDF. This cutter set includes 2 1/4" sharp shank TC cutters and 3 wing cutters specifically designed for tongue and groove routing. The seller chose to stuff both cutting tools into a plastic tube (page 4) which is not good. TC is hard but brittle and can be damaged by another bit. Note the upper and lower guide bearings which allow precise guide cuts without damaging the wood from the high RPM of the router. Bearings can be removed. I Can give a limited 4 star recommendation for these Newdeli Tongue and Groove Bit Sets 2pcs 1/4" Shank Newdeli 3 Teeth Adjustable T-Bar Woodworking Bit for Doors Drawers Shelves and more.. They have a 1/4" shank, which is far too small for the size of the drill and the depth of cut required to avoid making many shallow cuts. The small shaft makes them prone to shaft flex and excessive vibration. You really need a 1/2" shank. The packaging method is non-standard, meaning 2 bits of this size are squeezed into a plastic tube. I hope you found the information and my review helpful.
