Unfortunately not that.

The cable looks good and is ideal for reducing stress on the USB 3.0 port. But that's all. After installation I lost the front USB connection and the other connection dropped to 30/25 Mbit/s, originally around 290/500 Mbit/s (this was transferring video files to and from an external mx500 SSD). To make matters worse, I nearly snapped off the USB 3.0 connector because that cable wouldn't come out. Wouldn't recommend unless you just want poor/missing USB functionality on the front. I'm also seeing some reviews claiming they work and others not, so I assume your mileage may vary.

Pros
