Simple, very inexpensive, molded from flexible material. This is a great way to cover a standard light switch so people don't turn it on and off unexpectedly (or when they don't want to). If you buy SMART lightbulbs, you will find that you can still turn off the light automatically with the switch. This defeats the purpose of the SMART backlight as you simply disconnect the power supply. This cover won't let you do it all the time. However, there are times when you need to turn off the device completely. This is the slit you can see in the picture, so only on one side. That way you can put your finger on that spot and flip the switch. This doesn't prevent the switch from being moved (unless it's an unusually large switch), it just blocks you from your impulsive actions that you don't normally even think about. ** I intentionally leave the slot at a different angle from its normal viewing angle because it looks better that way, without the enticing "here's the switch" little fingers might want to flip.
