Awesome! Perfect for AIR CHAIR. Great Value! Safety advice at end.

I felt strongly about writing this review because I disagreed so much with the negative impression some other reviews left. The Zupapa is a strong and sturdy stand. I have zero concern about falling over! And it does not look like it will snap off or bend either. This is not intended for a child's room. This is not a swing set and you should not be swinging sideways. It has a nice wide enough base. It's not quite an "x" shape, it is longer than it is wide. If you are using this frame as it is intended, it seems to me that the base is perfect. The Air Chair fits very nicely in this frame. Those chairs are intended for gentle, natural movement, not swinging. We were so happy with our purchase, that we got my husband a frame after a week of checking mine out. We are both tall and he weighs 270lb. His chair does hang a little lower in the frame that we would have expected, but it is a 7 foot tall frame hanging a 6'4'adult. He does still have a few inches between the bottom of the seat and the base of the frame. We are attaching the chair directly to the frame. We did not feel that any spinning or spring hardware would fit when using frame. But, we don't miss any of that. Yes, your movement is a little more limited that if you were attached to a tree or the ceiling. But that will be true of any kind of frame.I do have one recommendation for anyone that purchases this frame. The "x" shaped base is made of flat metal bars(?). This made us a little nervous. If someone were to trip, or the chair or frame fail in any way, the base felt a little too sharp edged. That is not what you would want to hit going down. We got some pool noodles and duct tape. A slit up the side of the noodle allows it to fit nicely over the bars. It was a little trickier to fit it over the center of the base, but the duct tape holds it all in place beautifully. We are especially glad that we did that today! Unfortunately, this morning an old chair broke with hubby sitting in it. He bumped his arm, but said the fall would have been much worse if he hadn't protected the edges on the base.I highly recommend buying this frame. And my husband says you should get some pool noodles too!

Pros
  • It can be used both indoors and outdoors, making it a versatile addition to any home
Cons
  • The pegs may rust over time
