This kneeling stool from Luxton is pretty basic - as shown in the product photos it has padded knee pads, a padded buttock seat and an X-shaped frame. There is height adjustment via a screw mechanism and you can adjust the distance between the seat and knee pads by changing which of the 3 holes in the X center you use when assembling the chair. For my 160lbs, the padded areas are comfortable and support my weight well without undue pressure on my knees or buttocks. I've noticed slightly better posture in this chair compared to a regular office chair, although it's still possible to lean in this type of chair. to influence something. It comes with regular plastic casters; I replaced them with hardwood floor urethane wheels. I have two complaints about this Luxton chair. First, the box and all of the components were covered in this black, sand-like material, and when I took it out of the box and assembled the chair, my entire floor was covered in this black sand. Second, there are identical looking competitor chairs available at a significantly lower price and I don't see anything about this chair that justifies the higher price. My 4 star rating is based on the strength and comfort of the chair, taking one star off for value.
