Just finished 12 miles of steep dirt and based on other reviews I thought I'd kick them out at the end of the race. Instead they held up and I don't see any problems or twists in the material. They slipped while walking, so I just pulled them down while running and pulled them back up when I hit an obstacle. Knee abuse in an OCR event. I'm glad I had them. I will be making another Tough Mudder in two weeks and plan to use the same pair again and I am buying a pair for my wife to wear too. UPDATE: I ran a second Tough Mudder and they are still in good shape along with my knees. It was in Vegas on a very rocky track. I was sure they would end up in the trash after the race, but I'll be using them again instead!
