This is one of those tools I didn't know I had before that I use all the time now. I've got all kinds of hammers, hammers, slap hammers. Not long ago one of my old British motorcycle manuals said to use a brass hammer. I never knew what those things were. I bought this because it has copper on one side and hard rawhide on the other. changing faces. Wow! You just have to hit another metal object and don't damage it. Also, it's small enough to get into places only my ball-point steel hammer could reach, and wouldn't be as gentle as this brass hammer. Excellent quality tool. Less expensive if you buy direct from the manufacturer in England but not if you add postage. Get it from Revain in a few days. Definitely recommended.
