Review on Nikon 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED IF AF-S DX VR Zoom Lens with Vibration Reduction, New in Bulk Packaging (White Box) by Jagvir Singhtakhar ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Satisfied with the purchase one hundred percent, I recommend the product for everyone.

At first, I rated it a C grade, but a C grade should be given to me for my inability to shoot! Now, having learned a little, I can say that this is the only telephoto lens for little money (in December it cost 4 thousand in general, and then with an increase in the rate I took it for 6 thousand). I bought it instead of the whale D3100, in order to be able to take large pictures in motion over long distances, namely to photograph players on the basketball court while being in the auditorium. If the VR function is enabled, then the lens moves back and forth and cannot focus in any way, the battery overheats right up to shutdown! Therefore, turn off VR and everything will be fine! Again, I'm talking about photographing sports events, that is, people on the move. In statics, everything is much simpler. Also, at the beginning of use, there were problems with photographing a group of people - I was also looking for someone to focus on. Again, with experience, everything began to turn out. You can use manual focus. The photos are excellent, the colors are bright and saturated, but you will have to work with it, this is not a soap box, it’s good if 10-20 pieces remain out of 50 shots. Here, each photo is well-deserved, but how much admiration later! conclusion - do not spend extra money on VR.

Pros
  • telephoto lens
Cons
  • VR has to be turned off, it takes a very long time to focus. Conclusion - take it without VR

Has some pros Lightweight, relatively compact, inexpensive, good sharpness even at 200mm focal length. The hood in the kit was pleasantly pleased. Cons: Backlash . plastic mount (price), demanding on illumination,
