If the VR function is enabled, then the lens moves back and forth and cannot focus in any way, the battery overheats right up to shutdown! Therefore, turn off VR and everything will be fine! Again, I'm talking about photographing sports events, that is, people on the move. In statics, everything is much simpler. Also, at the beginning of use, there were problems with photographing a group of people - I was also looking for someone to focus on. Again, with experience, everything began to turn out. You can use manual focus. The photos are excellent, the colors are bright and saturated, but you will have to work with it, this is not a soap box, it’s good if 10-20 pieces remain out of 50 shots. Here, each photo is well-deserved, but how much admiration later! conclusion - do not spend extra money on VR.
