It will fit a 2005 Chvey Silverado 2500HD, just make sure the bolt that came with the kit fits into the truck frame with the tapered side. The reason for the 2 stars is that the bolt that came with the kit was unscrewed, I had to drive them out using a set of dies I had. Painting is nonsense, whoever paints this stabilizer should be fired today. The included red boot was completely torn off and could not be used. The tapered end of the double ended bolt that comes with the kit doesn't even go all the way into the truck frame. You would think they would work it harder to make it sit flush, but NO, they don't care. There was no pride in this product and it shows. As for the direct fit, yes it will do. If they have a QA/QC department that needs to inspect the product before putting it in the box for shipment, they should all be fired.
