Beautiful and easy to install

Very easy to install. On my Avalanche I dropped the skid plate and then just bolted it onto the existing brackets. I had to provide mounting hardware. I found a few reviews online that mentioned this, so I already had the screws.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • So far so good

Replaced my Bilstein!

2005 2500HD 2WD fits just right. Doesn't allow the wheels to pull to the right like my previous Bilstein stabilizer bar. Yes, there was paint on the bushings, yes, the conical end is a little long so as not to reach the bottom. None of this affects functionality and it works! Driving is fun again! Mine didn't have a trunk. Since it is behind Schutz and is mainly used by my truck for highway driving, I installed it anyway.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Older model

Awaiting field testing

Stamp Made in USA. We hope this is a quality product and not a foreign made steering stabilizer sold under 50 different brands if you put a sticker on it. The paint is terrible. Not full coverage, orange peel textures, and they're painted right down the sleeve. There is no pride in the product. There is no quality control. Waiting for the mounting kit to arrive as it seems to fit best when mounted with non stock hardware. For 09 2500hd Duramax

Worked on a 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

I installed this on a 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. The RS5548 bracket kit (sold separately) seemed to work, but I would prefer they just send it with the correct screw to replace the O&M screw rather than expecting me to buy an additional adapter kit. The steering stabilizer seems to be of good quality, but I don't trust the U-shaped clamps as much as the through bolt. The hardest part of the project was removing the old stabilizer bar as the O&M screw is tapered and goes into the hole.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Not as bold as other options

Should have bought this to begin with

06 Silverado 2500 Duramax , Pro-Comp arm lowering. I originally modified the Bilstein stabilizer bar to work with my lift, it's a well built unit. However, I experienced a strong right pull as it was accompanied by a positive charge. I decided to try the Ranch device as the reviews say it is not a charged device. After installation and a test drive, my truck again has no proper traction and forced steering. Highly recommended for anyone looking to replace an old, worn steering stabilizer.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Good but not great

That's why I gave it a good rating. The specific entity referenced by .

I've never had a problem with any of my other trucks. That's why I gave it a good rating. The specific block listed as fitting my 2011 Denali 2500 does not fit. It is about 2 cm too short. The mounting bolts were bent and the bushings failed after a week of riding. before you install them. Rotate the steering and compare the mounting holes with the stabilizer bar extended and compressed to make sure it fits. now the happy owner of a crappy stabilizer. It can serve as a target, that's all.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Functionality

An absolutely phenomenal product!

This item is extremely easy to install, but if you've never replaced your OEM then prepare for the fight, get your salt fork ready or brace Be prepared to remove the fork from the clutch fan cover to access the top bolt. I used a shock extension plus a metal tube as a bushing and then a 4lb mini slide to 'tap' it after 2 hours of wrestling with the OEM, the new sway bar worked great! Add an anti-seize remover if you plan to leave the vehicle for a while. Noticeable difference in vibration andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

No pride in making this product

It will fit a 2005 Chvey Silverado 2500HD, just make sure the bolt that came with the kit fits into the truck frame with the tapered side. The reason for the 2 stars is that the bolt that came with the kit was unscrewed, I had to drive them out using a set of dies I had. Painting is nonsense, whoever paints this stabilizer should be fired today. The included red boot was completely torn off and could not be used. The tapered end of the double ended bolt that comes with the kit doesn't even goโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Reliability
