Update. I originally liked his shoes, but they changed and made them very uncomfortable to wear. I think the constant friction has moved the suede. I still love the material but not for indoor shoes. My failed attempt and a simple lining in the shoe. So these shoes have a great fit for my foot, but they were a bit loose and causing chafing/blisters. I put a spacer in the front center area. Need a case to smooth the padding and suede lining. This leather patch has excellent adhesive and some flexibility to fit and avoid wrinkles. I also put something on the finger loop. Now my feet feel cozy and comfortable. No chafing! Adhesion is reliable. Doesn't change from the warmth of my feet. The edges of the rubber pad in the front part of the shoe have been smoothed out. I am so excited about the material. love love love! The only downside is that this material is quite expensive. I was able to fix 2 pairs of shoes so it's not that much for the money. But it's a lot cheaper than going to the shoemaker or buying glue and suede for the inside of the shoe. Here's a hack! Now I check all my shoes for scuffs so I can tape a few. This is a huge upgrade from the crappy moleskin sheets I've used before.
