It is smaller than I expected. The red rubber cover REMOVES to be able to get to the battery box - just pull it over the top and it removes easily. Battery cover not easy to open. When you do open it be mindful that there is an "O" ring to seal the compartment and it will come out with the cover! Do not loose it. The battery connections are small and the negative pole connector needed to be adjusted (pulled to the center slightly) to keep good contact. The blade needs a little help moving in light breezes so I blew a little bit into it to get it started. I think the information says it needs a 9-39 ft/min flow to make the blades move. Overall I am satisfied with this product, just not thrilled making chills run up and down my legs.iykyk.
