Adding these to your shock reduces the maximum air volume in the air chamber, which means the pressure increases faster when compressed. This causes it to be softer at the beginning of the movement and stiffer towards the end of the movement. Basically, it allows you to work with lower air pressure without bottoming out as easily. The seller's description is a bit flimsy, I thought I was getting 1 token but I actually got 5 which added a bit to the cost of the purchase. Also do your research, they are not compatible with all forks. According to the Rockshox (SRAM) website, "The black bottomless tokens are compatible with the following Solo Air forks: RS-1, SID, Reba, Bluto, Revelation)." I also recommend getting a properly sized socket to get as using an adjustable wrench will scratch your precious soft aluminum cap, I think it's 24mm (but please don't take my word for it).
