I wanted to mount this vertically on the back of a 3 drawer nightstand by my bed so I can charge my watch and phone and have watch plugs and lights. The heavy part of this product is the thick cable and it would be useful if someone wanted the end of the cable pointing down when mounting to a vertical surface. Well those idiot engineers placed the keyhole mounting holes in the wrong direction to prevent the extender from using gravity to hold the extender in place. He falls. I hope the electrical engineers aren't that dumb because if they are my house will most likely burn down soon.
