While there are sun loungers that weigh a few pounds less, they almost sit on the floor and at a certain age it can be difficult to get up and down sit on that low chair. Or you can buy a larger "camping chair" that offers more support and nifty features like cup holders - I have one too, but it's noticeably heavier to carry. This chair is a good compromise between the two. If you want something you can throw over your shoulder and head to the beach or park, this works great. Sturdy enough but lightweight, and the price is good too. A++++
