Review on πŸͺœ Delxo Aluminum 3 Step Stool: Folding Step Ladder with Anti-Slip Pedal, Sturdy & Wide, Lightweight Woodgrain Design | Ideal for Home, Kitchen | Holds Up to 330lbs by James Stevenson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I hesitated but I'm glad I bought this

. I'm 5 inches tall and we recently installed new cabinets that go to the ceiling. I looked at several other ladders from other suppliers but kept coming back to Delxo ladders because of their rating, looks and price. Then I looked at the different options they offer. I wanted something light and woody. I was hesitant to buy this as it didn't have a handle on top and I always use it to belay myself on stairs. I checked out the version with the handles above, but it was too big when folded, plus it was black and woody instead of just wood. I ended up going back and buying it for its thin folded profile and color and I'm glad I did. It's very solid and to my surprise the 3rd tier is roomy enough as long as I use the sides for stability that I don't need a handle on top to hold on. The storage is perfect for the tight space next to our fridge. It's a little difficult to open and fold. I got a lightweight aluminum ladder from a big hardware store and it's lighter and easier to open - even with one hand. I have to force it open. Let's see if a bit of WD-40 helps. Also the latch seems to be an added annoyance when closing the stairs. But other than that it's a really nice ladder and I'm glad I chose it.

Pros
  • VERSATILE USE AND MODERN DESIGN
Cons
  • fragile
