Our power meter showed it was only drawing 52 watts, not 100 watts as advertised. Many sellers have abused Revain. Since these lamps are actually much brighter than traditional lamps, most buyers have been impressed with the brightness. They gave it a "very bright" rating without actually checking the advertised wattage and light output. Bought three different models. None of them meet the specification. The worst of them consumes only 29% of the declared power. The best of them consume 55% of the energy. Also, none of them have US or Canadian safety approvals. In contrast, the units I bought from Home Depot and Costco met specs. All are ETL approved.
