We decided (like many in 2020) to buy a real Christmas tree this year. The least of my worries was the prospect of lighting a candle on said tree (10ft tall). At first I thought 164 feet would be enough, but ended up ordering about 4 more threads. The lights are tiny but bright and easily wrap around the branches (I didn't wrap them too tight as I didn't want to throw them with the tree after I gave them up). As the wire is a lot thinner than regular wired light fixtures it didn't really see through much so the loose winding was just great. My biggest (and probably only) complaint was that the kit wrapped around the end of the cord. I know it seems logical, but I ended up having to unroll and then rewind each strand so I could start wrapping the wood from the untied end and then finish with the twine. I paid extra attention to how I wound so as not to overlap other strands (making it difficult to detach later). Undressing was really easy. I'm not sure if we'll be "real" again next year, but even if not, I can add them to the fake tree to make it even prettier. (Of course, a remote was included to change the light pattern - I used the remote to turn it on and off, but I prefer a solid - no flickering or flashing - light, so I didn't use that feature when we went with Played them, I've tried them and they seem to work great.I've also used them on my mantel with some decor and they looked lovely!Very happy with the quality of these lights.
