Ordered this to replace my 1500 kit with a better 1700 kit and have new internals. This kit works very well and looks a lot better than the old one. I tried to do a little research myself without having to contact anyone (Delta) and found that my kit (see picture) is a 1500 kit and this rebuild works. simply good. You can get a few extra parts, but they aren't needed (from what I found anyway). I didn't have a better picture but if yours looks like this and has a crystal like on/off button then you most likely have the 1500 series and this kit is for you. I decided not to change the shower head as my original one was in good condition and didn't want to bother with it. I would recommend if you have hard water and have a lot of feel I would recommend that you spray your (old) parts with a PB blaster before attempting to take them. separately. It's worth the extra time. I gave it one star as the instructions don't really help disassemble the old one, but it disassembles pretty much the same as the new one.
